FAQ

Get Informed About Your Tattoo Experience!

WHY MUST I PAY A DEPOSIT?

Booking and tattooing is a lot of work! This deposit is a guarantee or a safe guard for me so you cannot no-show! But dont worry! If you do show up to your appointment, that deposit is put toward your total cost for your tattoo.

WHAT ARE THE RULES WITH MY DEPOSIT?

So, your deposit is non-refundable. This is because I've most likely already done work getting you scheduled and started to design for you. However, if you give me more than 24 hours' notice, I will allow the appointment date to be changed once. ONLY ONCE. So do not book until you are sure your dates work for your schedule.

I WANT A TATTOO IN A PERSONAL AREA. IS YOUR STUDIO DISCRETE?

Absolutely! All artists have their own rooms, and we can close off our doors if you are getting a tattoo in an area that you don't want others to see. Be sure to dress appropriately for whatever tattoo you are getting to alleviate any situations where you may have to remove more clothes than you expect. If you have questions, you can always add that in your request form.

CAN A FRIEND COME ALONG?

YES! Due to space, only 1 can come with you, but I encourage clients to bring things that make them feel comfortable. Wear lazy clothing that you don't mind if ink gets onto it and wear those fuzzy socks you love so much. Bring a few snacks and a bottle of water or juice as well! Please keep in mind, this friend should not hover or be disruptive so I can do my best work.

HOW DO I PAY?

Only the deposit is paid online. Card is not allowed at my studio. This is so we can give the shop their percentage at the end of each workday. So please bring cash or be prepared to visit an ATM once your tattoo is complete. I can give an estimate online after you are scheduled but I cannot promise any specific amount due to it being related to how well you sit, how often you need breaks and so-on. An easy rule of thumb is, I charge $125 an hour. This will include any time needed to set up/ revise drawings/ and short bathroom breaks and so-on.

CAN I USE NUMBING CREAM?

Sure! Be sure to test products on your skin 24 hours ahead of time to spot allergic reactions. Numbing creams don't work unless they are applied properly. To do this, use hot water on the area to open the pores (showering is the easiest way to do this on large areas), then apply a generous amount of cream on the area (trust me, more works better) then, wrap the area tight with plastic wrap. do this 1 hour before your tattoo. I've never had a bad reaction to numbing cream as far as tattooing, but I have experienced multiple allergies, so please take that very seriously if you have sensitive skin. Always spot test ahead of time!
